About House of Fire Pizza
Welcome to House of Fire Pizza, a passion project born out of our love for East Coast style pizza, a style we missed dearly after moving to Fairbanks, Alaska from Boston with our family.
With strong ties to the East Coast and Europe, our mission from the start was to introduce Fairbanks to a unique pizza experience inspired by both regions. Following our official pizza training in New York City, we spent an additional 14 months perfecting various dough formulations, sauces, toppings, and cooking techniques using our backyard wood-burning oven. Every weekend, friends would gather to sample our homemade pizza creations, making for some of the most enjoyable and memorable times.
Our first location, West, opened on January 11th, 2019. This was followed by our East location on March 19th, 2021, and our third location on Badger Road on July 7th, 2022. Despite our growth, we continue to make each pizza by hand, using homestyle and hand-stretched techniques. Our dough blends New York and European styles and is always cold-fermented for optimal flavor and texture. We use only the best ingredients, including San Marzano tomatoes for our sauce and whole milk, low-moisture mozzarella. Each pizza is cooked at high temperatures in ovens imported from Napoli, Italy, ensuring the perfect crust and flavor.
At House of Fire Pizza, we strive to create a welcoming and cozy atmosphere reminiscent of Boston's North End, the famous Italian district. Our restaurants are designed to accommodate large groups while maintaining a warm, inviting ambiance. We offer dine-in, take-out, and delivery options to suit your needs.
Our motto has always been "keep it simple." Our menu features homemade and hand-stretched New York Style pizza, Sicilian style pan pizza made from scratch, Stromboli, calzones, salads, and desserts. We never fry our food – if it can't be baked, we don't make it.
