Our History
House of Fire Pizza Restaurant was a result of my passion for East Coast style pizza, a style I could not find in Fairbanks after moving here from Boston with my family.
With ties to the East Coast and Europe, my overall goal from the beginning was to bring a new product to Fairbanks that would draw inspiration in its creation from both of these parts of the world. After my official pizza training in New York City, I spent additional 14 months testing out different dough formulations, sauces, toppings, and cooking conditions in my backyard wood-burning oven. I had friends over almost every weekend, testing out my creations. We ate home-made pizza and drank wine.
As you can imagine, these were the most trying times :)))
Our first location - West - opened on January 11th, 2019. Our second location - East - opened on March 19th, 2021. Our third location - Badger Road - opened on July 7th, 2022.
Even after all these years we continue to do my homestyle and hand-stretched pizzas, each pizza made individually and to-order. Our dough is a blend of New York Style and European style and is always cold-fermented. We only use San Marzano tomatoes for our sauce. Our mozzarella is whole milk and low moisture. We cook at high temperatures to ensure proper crust characteristics and flavors, in our fired ovens we get from Napoli, Italy.
We provide a welcoming and pleasant environment and we design our restaurants with this goal in mind. Our restaurants can accommodate larger groups, but still have that atmosphere of coziness we strive for. I design, build and decorate each of our restaurants with Boston's North End look in mind, the well-known Italian part of Boston. We offer dine-in, take-out, or delivery options.
Our motto has always been “keep it simple”. Our menu consists of homemade and hand-stretched New York Style pizza, made from scratch Sicilian style pan pizza, Stromboli, calzones, salads and desserts. Nothing is ever fried - if we can’t bake it, we don’t make it.

We serve great breakfast at great value at our Badger location. Large omelets with home fries from scratch. We bake our own bread to make delicious French Toast. Kids breakfast plates are also offered!
